Saat membuka KTT G20 di Bali, Presiden Jokowi mengetuk hati 17 kepala negara dan pimpinan lembaga internasional agar melepas ego demi meraih solusi. Kelangkaan pupuk perlu pemecahan, karena bisa memicu krisis pangan.

Awalnya, Jokowi menyampaikan salam kepada seluruh delegasi yang hadir dalam pembukaan KTT G20 di The Apurva Kempinski Bali, Nusa Dua, Bali, Selasa (15/11/2022). “Para pemimpin. Selamat pagi, hari ini saya nyatakan KTT G20 dibuka,” kata Presiden Jokowi.

Selanjutnya, Jokowi masuk ke pokok permasalahan yakni persoalan ekonomi yang tengah menggelayuti dunia. Termasuk itu tadi, kelangkaan pupuk. Jelaslah masalah ketersediaan pupuk khususnya bagi negara berkembang, sangat penting. Kalau tak ada solusinya maka potensi krisis pangan menjadi semakin tinggi.

Jokowi menekankan, persoalan pupuk tidak bisa dipandang remeh. Untuk itu, mantan Wali Kota Solo dan Gubernur DKI ini, mendorong KTT G20 menghasilkan langkah konkret untuk menjaga pasokan pupuk di negara-negara berkembang. Tentu saja dengan harga yang terjangkau. “Kalau itu tidak terjadi maka 2023 akan menjadi tahun yang suram,” ungkap Jokowi.

Jokowi menyampaikan, krisis global dikhawatirkan terus memburuk, menjelma menjadi krisis pasokan pangan. Salah satu pemicunya apabila terjadi kelangkaan pupuk di negara produsen pangan. Atau, kalau pun ada harganya tak terjangkau petani. “Bagi 48 negara berkembang dengan tingkat kerawanan tertinggi, akan menjadi kondisi yang sangat serius,” terang Jokowi

Kini, kata Jokowi, mata seluruh dunia tertuju kepada KTT G20. Besar sekali harapan dunia terhadap forum ini bisa menghasilkan sebuah kesepakatan bersama yang mengarah kepada perbaikan, khususnya upaya meredam potensi krisis global.

Sehingga, Jokowi sangat berharap agar KTT G20 bisa meraih harapan dunia itu. Tidak boleh gagal. “Namun keberhasilan hanya dapat tercapai apabila kita semua tanpa terkecuali, berkomitmen bekerja keras menyisihkan perbedaan-perbedaan untuk menghadirkan sesuatu yang konkret yang bermanfaat bagi dunia,” jelasnya.
